China - April 2008

This is Shanghai Moons and they are a key motor supplier for us.

Here some of our motors are being made.

Here is their wire harness assembly production lines.

We went out to dinner with Shanghai Moons and had some very hot, but good food. Notice all the red chilies in many of the dishes!

This is pork & cucumber strips with hot Chinese red wasabi sauce.

Local sweet water fish. Actually was very good!

This is cucumber with salted egg yoke. Different, but pretty ok to eat ... lol

Red chilies & chicken cooked on a bed of hot stones.

Fred came along with us for a little dinner. A bit too hot for him.

These pictures are not too good, but it's all I have. This is the dancer from the "Face Change" show. Super cool!! Watch the short video at the end. I have a much longer one, but too big to upload.

Here's the video. This is really cool and much, much better in person. He keeps changing his mask, but you never see him do it. He came out in the audience later & did it much closer. Wow, I don't know how he does it!!

Tomorrow we travel to Changzhou to visit some other suppliers. Stop back in the next day or 2 for some more stuff :-)
